Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Tutor to work within primary schools in Sunderland. This role is a full-time position, commencing in September 2022 until July 2023, working between the hours of 09:00-15:00 on a Monday – Friday. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
The role
The Tutor will be carrying out the School-led Tutoring Programme within school, working on a 1:3 – 1:6 basis with different year groups. The tutor will be expected to focus primarily on Literacy and Mathematics and improving pupils understanding of core concepts, whilst giving the pupils the additional support they need. Previous experience of teaching in a primary school is essential for this role. We can be flexible with days you wish to work.

Requirements
To be considered for the Key Stage 1 tutor position, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Be able to offer tailored support and differentiated activities.
Have excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
Be able to confidently plan and deliver learning independently.
