Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Surveyor

Contract Type: Full time permanent contract

Core Business Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5.30pm
Friday: 9am – 4.30pm
Flexible availability outside core hours
Flexible Working: Flexible working between office, home, client/team locations and site

Salary: £40K – £60K dependent on experience

Location: Cardiff

Holidays: 25 days holiday

Our client is a fast growing, successful construction consultancy who offer a fresh approach to the way that project and cost consultancy services are delivered.

With a head office in Cardiff and a further office in London, they are looking to bring on a reliable, organised, and proactive individual to their team.

The Role:

Carry out the duties required under the roles of Project Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Employer’s Agent (and/or any other similar role).
Ensure the annual fee target of the role is met
Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with company standards
Assist in company marketing/profile raising, e.g., networking, and social functions, preparing professional articles/blogs/case studies for bids/website use
The Person:

Experience as a QS; EA
Experience delivering complex projects completely independently
Conscientious in managing exceptional standards of customer care
Experienced in the procurement, appointment and management of contractors and consultants, as well as Contract Administration
Able to demonstrate use and adherence to a quality assurance system e.g., ISO9001
Evidence of excellent project/programme management skills
Possesses a high level of commercial and contractual awareness
Highly numerate, with the proven ability to understand, analyse, interpret, and explain complicated information and data
Experienced in cross property sector management and delivery experience, public and private together
Strong IT user including MS Office and an ability to manipulate data in excel to produce relevant management information
Required Qualifications:

Either MRICS or FRICS
