Carpenter/ Multi Trader
Social Housing Repairs (Permanent)
£31,000 – £33,000pa + OTE + Company Van + Fuel Card
Permanent position to start ASAP
Howells Contracts are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit a team of Carpenter Operatives to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance works to tenanted social housing properties in Welwyn and surrounding area. Company van and fuel card will be provided.
Multi Trade Experience – Core trade in Carpentry.
Multi Trade Experience – You will also be confident in carrying out additional trades such as Carpentry, UPVC, Basic Plumbing, minor Brickwork, Patch Plastering and Tiling.
Multi Trader Additional Requirements
NVQ Qualified/City and Guilds Qualified (Level 2 minimum) or Time Served
Valid Clean UK Driving Licence
Current valid DBS Check or be willing to undertake as required
Experience working within tenanted properties
Familiar with PDA usage
Clean, presentable, and must be eligible to work in the UK (with proof)
