Job Description
Role: Arborist Climber
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Up to £30,000pa
Multitask Personnel are working alongside an Environmental management company who offer an arboriculture, landscaping maintenance and tree consultancy services across the UK. They offer an array of expert services including tree surgery, arboriculture consultancy, landscaping, rope access, vegetation clearance and ecological mitigation and ecology and the control of invasive and noxious weeds.
We are working alongside them to recruit several Arborist Climbers to join their team in Peterborough on a permanent basis.
Duties:
Climbing Arborist
To perform branch removal operations to contract specification and instruct colleagues as appropriate
On Ground Arborist
To fell a range of small to large trees, shrubs, bushes and general undergrowth to comply with contract specification
To carry out skilled and unskilled arboriculture and general horticultural maintenance operations including climbing, felling, pruning and groundwork
To process branch woodround timber to a high standard of working practice
To handle and dispose of waste materials – when necessary
To knapsack spray/CDA amenity areas as required – when necessary
To operate a range of machinery, including power tools and light plant e.g. brushwood chipper
To have a good general knowledge of trees, plants and shrubs

To be eligible you will need:
Essential Minimum NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 or updated equivalent
Desirable
3 or more years climbing experience
Arboricultural qualifications (Level 3) NPTC CS32, CS41, CS40,
Full UK driving license (C1 or pre 97 entitlement a bonus)
CSCS site safety card
NRSWA Street works card
First aid certification
