Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager for a company that specialises in providing businesses with services that are vital for success, such as accountancy, financial and law consultation. This is a full time, permanent opportunity. Home based but will require occasional travel to the offices in the East Midlands.

The R&D Business Development role will provide support to our internal process and operational teams, in addition to initial research towards the profiling of the potential client base, across all industry sectors.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients

Lead Generation and creating marketing initiatives

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Managing and maintaining a sufficient pipeline of opportunities to exceed monthly targets.

The primary purpose of this role is to target and secure engagement opportunities for the business in a lead generation manor, primarily within the field of tax claim credits.

The individual should be knowledgeable in basic marketing and lead generation, be conversant on helping maintain a company CRM and be able to link between the operational levels of sales to delivery.

You will also be expected to introduce services from within the Group to maintain a cross selling initiative with all clients.

Key Accountabilities:

Lead generation for the sales team to further manage the relationships of clients for current and future projects.
Targeting, profiling and approaching appropriate leads.
Integrating with the delivery and operational teams ensuring efficient handovers.
Preparing preliminary approach reporting, helping in assisting presentations and pitches regarding areas of eligibility and appropriate qualifying costs linked to R&D claims.
Undertaking initial client calls and video meetings.
Daily input, regular updates and deal creation of client activity through CRM.
Achieving set team sales budgets and objectives for the group.
Weekly & monthly reporting assistance to the CSM.
Understanding and adapting to internal timelines and workflows to fee generation.
Assist with new marketing initiatives. Skills and Knowledge required:

Ideally with experience in lead generation
Sales experience in a B2B environment
Relationship building skills
Good communication proficiency
IT Literate
Excellent written & numerical skills

The ideal candidate will have:

A proven track record of sales success.
Proven ability to build successful relationships with existing and prospective clients
Highly motivated and target driven
An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills
The ability to demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to your work
You should be well-organised, used to prioritising tasks and be able to work well under pressure

Salary for this opportunity is £30,000 to £35,000 plus bonus and car allowance and good company benefits
