Job Description
The Staffing Network is a Nationwide Labor Provider across the UK
Due to a busy period our client has immediate vacancies for a component engineer working in a busy car mechanical factory. Temp – Perm position and training is required. Wage will depend on experience.
Shift Patterns – Monday – Friday with overtime available after 38.5 hours.
( You will be required to work some weekends )
Shift times vary each day
Monday – Wednesday – 8:00am-16:20pm
Thursday – 8:00am-16:00pm
Friday – 8:00am-15:00pm
Saturday & Sunday – 7:00am-12:00pm
Responsibilities
* Using Excavators, Wheeled Loaders and Haulers
* Building engines and checking gear boxes
* Checking all the components of a the car parts
* Reporting faults and damaged to the duty manager
* Filling out paper work
* Will travel to suppliers or assembly plants as needed
* Self-directed, able to analyze and solve problems
* investigating and solving problems, eg mechanical failures
