CNC Machinist (Days & nights rotating) Job in Heanor, Derbyshire
Job Description
Our client is an established precision engineering company and due to their continued success Staffbase has been appointed to recruit CNC Machinists to operate 5 -axis CNC Milling and Turning machinery at our client's busy machine tool facility near Ripley.
The Role:
Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for the setting and operation of 5 axis CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce large precision engineered components from various metals including stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys and carbon steels.
Candidate:
Ideally you will be an experienced 5-axis CNC machine operator who can read technical drawings, set and operate 5 -axis CNC milling & turning machines using Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol controls.
Applicants familiar with machining large components up to 3m will have advantage.
You will be competent in machining parts to a high precision tolerance and applicants with a NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship would be beneficial.
Hours of Work;
Shifts Monday to Friday 39 hours
2 weeks x day shift / night shift rotating
Benefits:
Excellent basic salary £41K – £42K + Overtime
