Job Description
CNC Miller Setter Operator
Weekend Night Shift
Meridian Business Support are recruiting for CNC Millers to join the team at Spirax Sarco for an initial 6 month period at their clean, modern premises in Cheltenham on a new shift pattern due to continued growth.

Hours of work:
Friday – Sunday 1pm – 2am
Weekly Gross Pay – £910
Friday and Saturday Pay Rate £21.00 per hour
Sunday Pay rate £28.00 per hour
The role would initially require training to be completed on either weekday day shift or weekday night shift for 6 – 12 weeks. Once fully trained the successful candidate will transfer over to the Weekend Night Shift pattern.

Training and Development OpportunitiesThe Role of the CNC Miller:
Setup and operate CNC mills / machining centres
Working to engineering drawings to produce components from predominantly cast stainless steel
Inspect work for proper dimensions and be able to document results
Working to production plans to meet production targets and KPIsExperience required:
Experienced in working with CNC mills / machining centres
Experience of setting and operating machines using either Fanuc or similar controls is essential for this role
Competent use of gauges and tooling
Experience in minor offset / program adjustments
Experience with Okumas would be advantageous.
