Job Description

CNC Programmer Setter Operator
Standard Hours: 8am- 5pm Mon to Thurs // 8am- 1pm Fri.
Salary: Dependant on experience
CNC Programmer Setter Operator Duties:
* To programme via Fusion 360
* Prepare and operate CNC machines for turning & milling
* Liaise with designers to improve processes and manufacturability
* Check parts off against drawings to ensure tolerances upon completion
* Liaise with colleagues in the CNC Dept to ensure good workflow
* Be able to work independently and prioritise workloads
* To ensure that all tooling is correct and in date
* Adhere to EH&S procedures and maintain good working practices
CNC Programmer Setter Operator Experience Required:
* Apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent on the job experience
* The ability to provide a high standard of work
* Have knowledge of working on Fusion 360 or similar packages
* The ability to both run and modify existing programs
* The ability to review existing programs and develop means to improve time/cost efficiency and overall productivity
* The ability to run multiple machines in a safe, practical manor
* The ability to work within a cell operation
* The ability to program different machines based on customer requests
* A good understanding/use of Hyper Mill – Training will be available for the right candidate
