Job Description
CNC Turner – CNC Machinist
A well established and stable specialist engineering and manufacturing company based in the Bedford area, currently seeking a CNC Turner to assist with the operating and maintaining of a range of manual and CNC machines.
As a CNC turner your duties would include:
Setting and operating manual and CNC turning machines.
Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping in the workplace
Participate in the continuous improvement / lean manufacturing activities
Inspect components during production to ensure drawing / spec requirements are maintained
Produce first off components for inspection Essential skills and experience
Must have at least 3 years’ experience with close tolerance work
Experienced in setting and operating manual and CN lathes
CAD experience would be desirable What’s in it for you
