Description
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for:
Ensuring all relevant legislation, regulation and best practice is accurately reflected in all process documents and training materials
Provide support in completing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA)
Gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests, subject access requests and investigating data protection incidents.
Provide assistance with Contract/Data Processing Agreement management, audits and reviews
Supporting staff engagement and training, promoting a culture of privacy by design and default
Monitoring the external operating environment, attend identified conferences, seminars and convey learning to wider organisation
Reviewing marketing materials, presentations and the website to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Coordinating and support the Fund Data Governance Group
Supporting the Fundrasing Team with the development of fundraisers policies and procedures
Performing general administrative dutiesProfile
The successful candidate for the Compliance Officer role will have the following skills/qualities:
Knowledge of experience of working in a regulated environment
Understanding fundraising compliance, best practice and regulations
Knowledge and experience of Data Protection Act
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisation
Ability to work well with others
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and WordJob Offer
