This principal contractor offers high end new build and refurbishment/fitout services to clients nationwide. Due to their success and increased workload, they are looking for a Contracts Manager with experience in various sectors of construction, & someone that can meet the higher demand and take them to the next stages of success. This role provides the opportunity to work on different projects across the UK. You must be willing to relocate for the given project. The role provides an excellent opportunity to become an integral part in a business' ongoing success, assisting on large projects in a dynamic environment, working alongside an established and experienced team.
The Role:
– Manage and update a workload tracker
– Attend site scoping meeting
– Undertake site surveys
– Be accountable for full site management from site set up through to completion
– Preconstruction set up of projects including the co-ordination of consultants and suppliers
– Compiling site safety files, CPHSPs and RAMs
– Completing material requisitions / Coordinating trades / Arranging Transport
– Undertake regular site visits
– Weekly reporting against programme, quality and cost including H&S
The Person:
Multi sector experience
4+ years in Contracts management
Commercial, fitout, educational, supermarket, leisure, hotel or retail construction experience
