Interaction are actively recruiting for a Sales Ledger to join our clients expanding finance team based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
You will be responsible for:
· Ensuring customers adhere to payment terms & remain within credit limits, this being via email and telephone.
· Process debit and credit card payments of correct sums.
· Can identify when accounts should be escalated to a senior Credit Controller.
· Raising credit notes and invoices.
· Build strong relationships with new customers in hope to open new accounts.
· Deal with customer receipts & reconciling customer accounts.
· General administrative tasks.
· Working with your team to hit targets for cash collection.
Skills and personalities required:
· 2 years experience as a credit controller.
· Exceptional organisation and planning
· Team player.
· Problem solver.
· Knowledge of accounting systems, spreadsheets, excel and general IT literacy.
· Understand how to compete formula and sort data.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Thrive from a challenge and implement new working practise.
