Job Description
Customer Liaison Officer
Salary – £22,000 – 26,000
Location – Portsmouth
We are recruiting for a Customer Liaison Officer to join a specialist business based in the Portsmouth area where you will be the main point of contact between the customer and internal departments providing an excellent customer service. You will provide daily support to customers and will be responsible for your own group of customers.
Candidates with experience in Customer service or working within Manufacturing environments would be well received.
As the Customer Liaison Officer, you will be required to:
Review schedules and highlight any potential supply issues
Liaise with production managers and planners gathering information to feed back to the customer
Make amendments on the MRP system regarding any schedule changes
Issuing of POD’s/ tracking information to customers
Loading scheduled production orders onto the MRP system
Communicate effectively with all departments
Liaising with customers confirming tracking information (despatch/delivery)
Candidates should have the following skills or experience:
Experience in Customer Service roles
Experience of using MRP systems
Knowledge of stock management, goods in processes and warehousing
IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills
Strong numeracy and Literature skills
Able to work as part of a team and individually
