Delivery Manager – Telecoms
Pay rate – £360/day. Inside IR35
Location – Remote / Basinstoke office
12 month Contract – renewable
The Main Responsibilities
• Delivering network infrastructure (limited) and building add projects on time, cost and quality according to best practice and industry standards.
• Managing indirect multidisciplinary project teams.
• Coordinating and controlling projects including financials, risk management and resolution, progress reporting, internal and external stakeholders’ management and supporting customer communications.
• Conducting variance reporting, root cause identification and error resolution resulting in revenue recovery or cost savings
• Supporting ad hoc requests, reports and projects and participate in operational reviews with stakeholders.
Required skills:
• Fully proficient in leading work groups remotely, ideally in telecommunication construction/infrastructure projects
• Ideally qualified in a recognized Project Management discipline e.g. Prince 2/PMI
• Experience in telecom network infrastructure projects
• Experienced in identifying problem areas and finding solutions for projects
• Able to devise, track and implement effective and efficient project plan changes
• Ability to organize and report using MS Office suite including MS Project
• High-level understanding of telecom network technologies and systems (data-centres, OSP, DWDM, Metro Ethernet, IP, Access) particularly in the build out of Telecom networks, permissions and works required to build fixed metro telecom networks
