Location: Fully Remote
Salary: Up to £85,000 + Benefits
We have an exciting opportunity to join and support one of our clients, a global leader in secure and decarbonised digital with a range of market-leading digital solutions, along with consultancy services, digital security, and decarbonisation.
Overview:
This global business supports the growing market-demand on digital transformation, operating across the cloud lifecycle to weave secure digital solutions into the fabric of business, using a global and highly proficient set of capabilities that enable our customers to deliver their business outcomes in a decarbonized and constantly evolving world. As a DevSecOps Lead, you have the technical knowledge to ensure 'Security by Design' cloud solutions encompassing continuous testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery using various cloud technologies. You have a specific focus on security on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure for example) and containerized environments (Docker, and Kubernetes) as well as understanding and experience in DevOps, DevSecOps and cloud native app services. You will work alongside Project Managers, Scrum Masters, DevOps engineers and Enterprise Architects in customer engagements. You will also be required to support the deployment and delivery with hands-on experience as required.
Main Responsibilities:
Support as required with client conversations demonstrating your technical expertise to help customers in their journey to and optimization on cloud in Cyber security.
Drive adoption of security standardization and automation plus clearly identifying any non-standard requirements in Cyber security.
Align with our client and the team when non-standard security services and solutions are required, to assess viability to scale using these customer requirements.
Ensure you are an Improver of security services and solutions making appropriate recommendations for approval or otherwise.
Be involved in implementation projects as required.
Contribute to the company and customer Cloud Vision and roadmaps in Security.Key Skills & Experience
Experience with DevSecOps on a cloud platform.
Clear understanding of DevOps and Agile principles.
Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
Public cloud automation experience (Python is a plus).
Public cloud certification: Associate/Professional Solution Architect.
Experience in Azure, including but not limited to Active Directory, KeyVault, Security Centre, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, CloudTrail, Security Event Logs, TrustCenter, ARM templates/BiCep.
Preferably also experience in AWS, incl. but not limited to IAM, GuardDuty, WAF, Shield+, EC2, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Terraform.
A Security Specialty Certification from a Public Cloud provider platform.
Ability to develop Infrastructure as Code.
Java, Python, NodeJS, Spring, Apache, Tomcat, JSON, XML, and Jboss.
Experience using Source Control systems, such as GIT and SVN, within an operation context.
Experience creating Docker image and/or orchestrating container deployments using Kubernetes.
Expertise in developing and implementing one or more of the following: Identity and Access Management, SSO, SAML, Open ID, OAuth2 or 2FA technologies.
