Engineering Buyer
Working as a technical Buyer, you will be the first point of contact for a global leader in monitoring and inspection products, for renewable industries. They specialise in reducing project footprints through digilitisation.
Reporting to the UK base Manager, you will be responsible for all procurement related queries at base, interacting with stakeholders to attain the right parts at the right time for their range of products and services, which are used both on land and sea. This role will see you take on a broad range of responsibilities, also providing logistical support when needed.
You will be working for an industry leader who offer long term solutions for their clients, built on over thirty years’ experience in technology, engineering, and offshore services. This company are looking for someone who can help enable their customers to ensure safety, optimise structural health and extend their performance on their wide range of products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the procurement, supply chain or purchasing department, from an electronic, mechanical or engineering background. This person could be looking for progression to step into a more senior position within a hi-tech industry. ERP/MRP experience and an understanding of Navision/MS Dynamics would be highly desirable, but not essential
