Engineering Manager
Working with a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of niche products to a range of industries including Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial.
Our client have an immediate need for an experienced Engineering Manager to join the business and become part of the R&D function, leading one of its three R&D divisions. This would suit some one who leads from the front, and enjoys managing teams through the full life cycle of a development process.
You will be able to take the R&D strategies and goals, and lead the team to execute and deliver effective solutions within the specified timescales.
Engineering Manager required experience:
Extensive experience working in a similar position, with preference to an R&D environment
Demonstrable experience in leading teams to achieve successful delivery of projects and products
Time served engineering background in a range of manufacturing settings
Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, castings, injection moulding, etc.)
Excellent abilities in communication and technical documentation interpretation
Solid abilities in CAD design, with preferred knowledge in Solidworks
