Job Description

Working for a company employing leading professionals within the sector, this Financial Accountant will be working for an organisation that has ambitious growth deliverables it has been achieving and is forecast to achieve over the next few years.
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant;
To support the FC on matters of accounting, tax analysis, treasury, internal control and process improvements.
Support the FC in the collection and preparation of fiscal data and reporting including UK accounts, NL accounts, corporation tax returns, short term business visitor declarations etc.
Assist the FC with month end ly reporting including IFRS16, review of journal entries, review of P&L and balance sheet, ledger reconciliations, tax accounting & corporate reporting..
Support annual and ad hoc audits for both financial reporting, internal audit and grant claims.
Manage the businesses insurance portfolio, collecting information from key business contacts and liaising with insurance brokers.To be successful in this position as Financial Accountant we are looking for a candidate with a degree or relevant qualification within the sector – with ACA being desirable but not essential. Ideally applicants will hold good Excel and ERP skills and it would be beneficial to have previous SAP experience. Ideally applicants will have at least 2 years post qualified experience, working for a mid-tier professional services firm or big 4. SOX experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
