Smile Education are looking for passionate and enthusiastic graduates across a range of disciplines from Drama to Economics, Life Sciences to Journalism. The Smile Graduate Scheme is a dedicated programme for graduates seeking their first step on the teaching ladder.  It's a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in a range of classrooms and immerse yourself in school life.

Smile Education are working with an exclusive client based in Telford who have unique opportunities for university graduates to gain experience in a range of classrooms as a Graduate Teaching Assistant prior to commencing a PGCE.

As a graduate, your role will include:

Making full use of the training materials.
Working closely with the class teachers, gaining an insight into the planning and preparation of lessons.
Offering 1:1 support with children who have barriers to learning.
Creating extra academic support sessions to small groups of children.
 
To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant UK degree in any discipline

• Willingness to support teachers in every area of the curriculum

• Enthusiasm and openness to learning new skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
