Job Description
Our client is a large organisation and looking for an experienced Head of Corporate Comms to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant
You will
Develop and deliver an effective communications and marketing strategy for the client, ensuring consistent communication of its vision and ambitions for the region, as well as its services and achievements, to multiple stakeholders.
Ensure that the client is open and transparent in its communications, and that activities are designed to engage with targeted, relevant, diverse audiences across the region.
Lead campaigns that promote the West of England – regionally, nationally and internationally – as a great place to live, work, visit and invest, in line with our ambitious strategy for clean growth that benefits every resident.
#Proactively lead, plan and deliver comms and media opportunities and events that enable the delivery of the organisational and mayoral objectives and maximise the coverage of the client across the region and nationally.
Provide expert and strategic advice to the business and its leadership on matters relating to communications, marketing, consultation and engagement.
Work with colleagues from departments across the organisation to ensure a consistent and corporate approach to all communications, marketing, consultation and engagement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector partners and key stakeholders (including councils, central government departments, regional and national bodies) to help drive a consistent regional narrative in line with the Local Industrial Strategy.
Ensure effective media relations is maintained at all times, planning ahead to maximise opportunities and manage key issues.
