Job Description
Next Generation have been appointed to lead the recruitment for a Health & Safety Advisor to work with a leading global manufacturer of safety critical components for the Petrochemical, Subsea and Nuclear sectors. As the Health & Safety Advisor you will be responsible for promoting a positive HSE culture across the clients manufacturing facility.
What’s on offer for the Health & Safety Advisor?
* Competitive salary up to £35,000 p.a. (DOE)
Working hours of the Health & Safety Advisor:
* Monday – Friday (8.30am – 17.30pm)
Duties of the Health & Safety Advisor:
* Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures
* Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certification
* Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
* Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
* Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers
* Internal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings
The successful candidate for the Health & Safety Advisors position will have the following experience:
* 3 – 5 year’s working within H&S (Essential)
* 3 – 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
* Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)
