Human Resources Officer (Office based)
Sutton Coldfield
Circa £35,000 plus excellent benefits including car allowance

Reporting into the Head of Human Resources, this role will see you in a Generalist role that very much pure HR/ER.
Job role / duties
Provide high quality Employee Relations advice to line managers including advising on and dealing with first line ER issues and escalating where necessary.
Work closely with the Logistics team to develop and build mutually beneficial working relationships,
Advise on capability management, disciplinary and grievance issues as well as other employee relations matters.
Deliver a balanced case management service in line with company ethos, policies and procedures.
Support and manage the new HR system
Perform administrative tasks to support the team on a daily basis
Support & guide Supervisors & Team Leaders and ensure any relevant training is given
Deputise for Head of HR when needed and ensure any issues that are serious are escalated
Provide an ER/HR presence both on and off site to ensure relationships are maintained with both Head Office and Logistics
To be considered for this role you MUST:
•Be CIPD/part CIPD qualified
•Have worked in a lead role supporting with ER cases – disciplinaries, grievances and performance management meetings.
•Possess at least three years experience in a generalist HR Officer position
•Be an exceptional written & verbal communicator .
•Have proven organisational and inter-personal skills
•Have worked with all levels of management and be able to present on all HR related topics and give common sense business advice.
•Have a full clean driving licence in order to travel to other sites of the business.
