Hybrid Graphic designer/Artworker – Maternity cover (1 year)

£23000 a year
Monday – Friday
Our client is looking for an experienced Artworker / Graphic Designer to join their studio team on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the posibility of a permanent position.
Someone who is / has:
A confident user of Mac-based design packages.
Good previous experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
Passionate about design and great communication.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on the go at any one time
A minimum of 2 years of experience.
An interest in packaging and / or clothing is beneficial but not essential.
Previous experience in either print production or designing for woven labels is an advantage. What will you be doing?
Producing packaging, price tags, and woven and fabric label artworks according to client's requirements.
Finalising artworks once visuals/samples have been approved and distribute files to clients and production sites.
Managing your own project workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals and assignments as needed.
Preparing approved artworks for UK production.
Juggling various projects and handling tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Operating a robotic cutting table to create packaging prototypes and "white mock ups" – full training given.
Working closely with other studio team members and assisting them with their workload during peak times.
You may be required to take part in weekly Zoom meetings with clients, but this is not essential.
