Job Description
Job Title: Import/Export Auditor
Location: Salford
Salary: £35,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday (8am-4pm)
Purpose of Role
The role of Import/Export Auditor is to assist in the smooth running of import/export operations, responsible for controlling the monitoring and efficiency of processes, staff training and documentary updating of its scope of expertise.
The Candidate
Previous experience working in an Import/Export Role
Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills/ knowledge of EXCEL
Preferred knowledge of SAP is desirable, but training can be given
Knowledge of Customs Codes in EU Operations relating to customs declarations
European and American trade regulations expertise
Knowledge of Structure ISO, Transport solution, Sales Administration
Operational knowledge
Soft Skills: writing, communication, and training capacity
The Role
The Import/Export Auditor is a pivotal role which would suit a proactive, organised and structured, intelligent individual that relishes supporting a fast paced and growing business.
Responsible for Import and Export Recovery / Controls / Archiving
Managing KPI quality of execution of Customs operations
Ensure follow-up of operational anomalies; manage escalations and alerts as needed
Coordination between the Customer Service and the Procurement functions, Logistic Routes, and Brokers
Conducting Webinars and Team training in UK regulatory aspects customs matters
Trace Compliance awareness
Preparation and interventions during DOVER audits
Regulatory monitoring of customs Import & export
