Job Description
Junior Mechanical Design Engineer – £25K- £35K – Southampton – Optics/Precision Design
I’m currently recruiting for a growing optical technology company. They’re looking for a talented, enthusiastic and driven Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative design team. You will have the opportunity to be part of an exciting design and development team and take new products from concept through to production.
Main Duties Include:
+ DFM
+ 3D CAD design
+ Design and development of opto-mechanical components
+ Detailed design drawings
Skills and Experience Required:
+ 3D CAD design experience (Solidworks preferred)
+ Knowledge of MRP and PLM Systems
+ Knowledge of fibre optic and laser products (preferred)
+ Hands-on machining and manufacturing experience
Salary will be between £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. There is also a company benefits package for the desired candidate..
