Job Description
KS1 Teaching Assistant
Salary: £75-£85 per day
Position: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until end of the academic year with the possibility of being extended
Brandt Education are currently working in co-operation with a good rated primary school in Blackpool who are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This role will then go on until July 2022 with the possibility of the role being extended.
The school prides itself on being extremely supportive to all it's staff members. Children make great progress here and love to learn from a well organised and engaging curriculum. Children are well behaved and eager to learn.
The successful teaching assistant will be working with children throughout Key Stage 1. They may lead intervention groups, as well as Phonic booster classes. This role would be suitable for teaching assistants with good behaviour management and teaching assistants with Key Stage 1.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
Enthusiastic and personable attributes
Experience in teaching phonics to small groups
Strong behaviour management skills
Experience working with children in Key Stage 1
