Job Description
Sourced Recruitment is looking to speak with candidates who are looking for a career as a Layout Designer within the new build housing sector.
The role which is for a Northwest House builder requires someone who is proficient in the preparation of drawings and documents.
Position: Layout Designer
Area: Northwest
Salary: Circa £50,000 plus car allowance ect
Day to Day
* Produce AutoCAD Planning Layouts and all associated drawings. Preparation and collation of Planning Applications, including applications for discharge of details reserved by planning conditions, liaison regarding s106 Agreements, etc.
* Produce AutoCAD house type and apartment working drawings and all associated drawings, details and documents.
* Appointment of and liaison with external Consultants.
* Liaison with necessary Council Officers and Statutory Authorities. Liaison with Solicitors, preparation of legal drawings and documents. Checking external Consultants’ drawings, documents and reports.
* Liaison with contractors and sub-contractors. Compilation of tender packages.
* Assist in production of and checking of sales & marketing material. Preparation and collation of Building Regulations / NHBC Applications. Checking external Consultants’ and Designers’ drawings and documents. Manage budgets and payments.
* Liaison and collaboration with members of all other Departments within the Company.
* Site visits and liaison with Construction and Sales team where necessary.
