NES Fircroft is working with a major Oil and Gas operations company, who are looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to support their Marine & Aviation Logistics team .
Logistics Coordinator (Drilling)
12 Month Contract-Norwich
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Marine & Aviation Logistics team. With a stronglogisticsbackground,the successful individual will be responsible for providing logistics support to our UK offshore business across the Southern North Sea and onshore terminals.You will develop strong working relationships across our operations and externally with our Marine/Aviationc ontractors to support the effective delivery of this role.This position will have focus on our Drilling,Wells, Decomand projects along with all other logistics activities.
This role operates a working pattern of Monday to Friday and whilst this role is based in Norwich there may be a requirement to travel offshore occasionally and to other sites for meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage day to day Marine/ Aviation activity
Focal point for Quayside/Marine Contractors
Respond today-to-day operational challenges
Maintain & update Vessel plan working with key business stake holders to ensure oversight and location of all Drilling, Wells, Decomm vessels.
Assisting with budget control tracking
Recording of Marine logistics data on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Attend internal and external meetings with the ability to travel to other locations as required
Wider logistics team support where required
Managing, checking and processing of invoices
Collating, Recording & Reporting of any incidents / Investigations in conjunction with Logistic operations
Recognising opportunities for improvement in Marine Logistics
Build effective relationships with the wider business and external providers
Support all planned and adhoc administrative tasks as required
Maintaining and tracking of spreadsheets
Recording and reporting of aviation and marine logistics data on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Manage and create Purchase requisitions within SAP for the drilling, Wells and projects where required.Follow up and manage Purchase order deliveries.
Maintain daily dialogue with the Materials and Logistics co-ordinator on the drilling and Wells projects and support where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Knowledge of Marine/Vessel experience within the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry
Knowledge of UK Oil & Gas Marine guidelines
Strong written English with a high level of IT Skills primarily in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
Full Driving Licence
Strong Administration SkillsTo be considered for this role candidates must have an existing right to work in the UK.
