Job Description
Role: Machine Operator
Pay: £10.24
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00
Location: Wigan, WN6 7LN
Contract: Permanent
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our clients expanding team on a permanent basis.
The company specialise in the manufacture and distribution of specialist steel products.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a career in the Manufacturing environment as all training will be provided.
Duties include but are not limited to :
Cutting Metal Tubes using band saws and overhead cranes
Loading and Unloading wagons
Measuring of product
Putting stock away
Keeping the workplace clean and tidy
Other factory and general warehouse duties
Skills/Experience
Experience is ideal, although not necessary as full training will be provided
Ability to use measuring tools
A good team player
Able to take responsibility for producing quality work
