Management Accountant
Pertemps are recruiting for our well-established manufacturer of bespoke returnable packaging, predominantly supplying the automotive and aerospace industries, based in the heard of Telford. They are looking for a full time permanent Management Accountant to join their hardworking and professional team.
You will be doing bank reconciliation each week for UK and foreign bank accountants, looking after the weekly cash flow whilst processing the bookkeeping duties. You will be liaising with Spanish accountants and providing information to them, in this varied role you will be processing the UK payroll using SAGE 50, advising on VAT liability for exports and various supply routes in Europe.
We are also looking for someone who will help shape the future of the company through financial insights and identify new ways for the company to reduce operational costs.
For the right person this will lead to progression into senior management.
Ideal Candidate
Must have Sage 200 & Sage 50 Payroll
Experience of Management accountants
Good Excel Skills
General accounting knowledge
Good VAT knowledge for exports/European
Previous forecast management accounts including P&L and balance sheetVAT return for UK company each quarter includes checking transactions are correct
Prepare the trial balance for the UK accounts
Provide information to accountants preparing UK accounts including Corporation Tax returns and P11D informationSalary £40,000-£45,000 per annum
