The Role – Maths Teacher

I am actively recruiting for a qualified and experienced Maths Teacher to work on a temporary basis at a SEN school. The role will require you to teach maths to students who have Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviour. Due to the needs of the students, the ideal Maths Teacher will need to be resilient and have experience teaching/working with children or young people who have SEN, teaching experience at an upper primary level would be ideal. This role requires full-time commitment.

SEN School – Maths Teacher

This SEN school is located in the London Borough of Harrow and caters for students between the ages of 11-19 years who have various Special Educational Needs such as Specific Learning Difficulty, Visual Impairment, Other Difficulty/Disability, Hearing Impairment, Speech, language and Communication, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Multi-Sensory Impairment, Physical Disability, Moderate Learning Difficulty, Severe Learning Difficulty and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty. They currently have 56 students who attend the school and an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding' in all areas from their last inspection in September 2019.
