Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Northampton (NN5)

Days 08:00am – 17:00pm
Monday – Friday Days + on call rotation
£35,000 + overtime
Encore are proud to be working in partnership with a market leading company, that have been supplying construction material across the UK and Europe. Due to market conditions and investment from the company on equipment, they are now expanding and increasing the size of their maintenance department.
Job Role:
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for both electrical and mechanical equipment onsite. There would also be a requirement for you to support any other maintenance projects on the site, which may be required.
Typical Duties will involve:
Working individually and collectively with the engineering team to ensure all reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance is completed during the shift.
Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance; Automation, 1 & 3 Phase, and installs (there are a number of larger projects coming over the coming months)
Working alongside the production team to understand issues and reduce impact on production.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement to ensure the department is always developing with reactive and proactive procedures.
Ensure the working environment is safe for all – a health and safety orientated mindset is a must.
General onsite maintenance as and when required.
Desirable experience
Able to work the Monday to Friday shift (Apply online only)), and able to support the on call rotation – roughly one week in 5 or 6 weeks.
Recognised apprenticeship in Engineering – Desirable
Further engineering qualification (HNC or Degree) – desirable
Experience in a manufacturing, automated, construction materials environment
A recognised Mechanical Background / Qualification
Understanding of basic electrical dutiesApply!
