Job Description
This is a hands-on IT support position. As well as supporting the day-to-day needs of the users, both on-site and remote, it also involves the care taking of the local network infrastructure (configuration, management and backup) as well as working with the Global Network Team to deliver local routing and connectivity support to site.

What you'll be doing?
This is a hands-on IT support position. As well as supporting the day-to-day needs of the users, both on-site and remote, it also involves the care taking of the local network infrastructure (configuration, management and backup) as well as working with the Global Network Team to deliver local routing and connectivity support to site.
Key Responsibilities:
Network care taking, configuration and administration.
Ensure networking infrastructure is fit for purpose.
Network provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting and repair.
Recommending system upgrades, problem solutions and service improvements
Ensure critical business operations are consistently operational, safeguarded and functional.
Competent in network design, operation and troubleshooting.
Able to configure Cisco enterprise-level networking equipment from scratch, including switches, routers and Wi-Fi controllers.
Maintain detailed documentation of equipment locations, configurations and solution designs.
Work with the global WAN team to maintain site connectivity.
Work with Global Security Team to maintain network security.Profile
Key Skills & Experience:
Level of Education & Experience:
Ideally educated to degree level in a related discipline
5+ years' experience in IT support activities
CCNATechnical Skills:
Windows Server family operation and support
Network design
DNS service provision and management
Network technologies: Wifi, DNS, DHCP, BGB, STP, VLANs, QoS, etc.
Cabling/networking skills – especially routing multiple subnets
Good customer/communication skills
Self-starter with track-record of dependability and reliability.Behavioural Skills:
A proven record of being able to work successfully in a multi-discipline team environment.
Good communication and influencing skills.
Results orientation and performance bias.
Attention to detail.
A desire for knowledge management and capturing lessons learned for future improvements.
