Job Description
Role: Network Engineer
Location: Elland
Salary: £45,000
We are currently working with a market leading managed service provider, with offices all over the UK, who are currently in an exciting period of growth and are looking for a Network Engineer to come and join their ranks.
This is an all-encompassing role that will have you involved in complex projects, support, pre-sales and service delivery providing exceptional customer service utilising the latest routing and switching devices from a multitude of different vendors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company in developing new state of the art solutions and maintaining the core network.
Key responsibilities:
Provide 3rd line support on complex issues
Deploy network upgrades in specialist and bespoke projects
managinging and upgrading network security solutions
Configure a range of IP network equipment
Reviewing, modifying and network concepts and putting into practiceThe ideal candidate:
CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent level of experience
Expert in troubleshooting
Detailed understanding of MPLS, BGP & OSPF
L2/L3 knowledge on routing and switching
understanding of security principals
