Job Description
Permanent Position Required: NoSQL Enterprise Database Architect
We are partnered with a world-renowned leading insurance broker and risk adviser who are looking for a NoSQL Enterprise Database Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.
Location: London
Working Model: Fully Remote – Occasional travel onsite for meetings
Circa Salary: £120,000
The NoSQL Enterprise Database Architect will:
Design and construct large relational databases and strategies for the Enterprise Database Systems and setting standards for operations, programming, and security, using ETL architecture standards
Integrate new systems with existing structure and refine system performance and functionality
Manage data integration and train users on effective implementation of database practices
Take complex codes and break them down logically for end-user understanding
Compute solutions to data problems in a timely manner with techniques that offer long-term success
Transmit information feedback between end-users and data specialists to ensure high-quality programs
Research industry best practices in emerging technologies and implement into database design
Provide support with continuing maintenance, updates, and upgrades; identifying and fixing problems as they arise
Provide recommendations for performance tuning and improvements to existing databases
The NoSQL Enterprise Database Architect will have:
Significant background in 3 or more from: DBA, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DBA, NoSQL Architect, MongoDB DBA, MongoDB Architect, NoSQL, MongoDB, MySQL DBA, Database architecture, Data modelling
Talented in Database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes
Familiarity with data visualisation, data migration and data modelling tools
Experience in applied mathematics and statistics
