Location: Wallsend, North Tyneside
Salary: £27,336 + Benefits
Hours: Perm, 40 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Nursery Manager to assist to join the friendly and dedicated team of childcare professionals. In this role, you'll contribute to their mission to give children a healthy start in life, equipping them with the support, knowledge and nurturing they need to thrive, whilst leaving a lasting positive impact.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Nursery Manager to join and lead our client’s team to provide a safe, caring, fun and stimulating environment. The Nursery Managers provide the highest standard of leadership to their teams.
Essential Skills:
The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and pro-active mindset with a positive attitude and can lead the team to form strong and supportive relationships with the parents, children and the team.
Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
Leadership and management experience, in a childcare setting.
Experience of working in a senior role within a nursery setting or centre working with children aged 0 to 5 years and their families.
Leading a staff team, including supervision, work allocation, assessment or training and professional development
A thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and relevant current legislation.
Understanding of child protection processes, safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.
Commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory working practice with children, families, colleagues and the community.
