Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a Principal Service Designer to join our expanding team.
The role is open to anyone with a minimum of 3-years experience in Service Design or a similar role such as Solution Consultant/Architect role where Service Design was required.
You should have a proven track record of delivering successful service design projects. You will have an ability to deliver a high-standard of documentation with enough technical experience to help develop a diverse ICT product and service portfolio.
The role will involve.
Working with prospective clients, product partners and internal resources within the company
Engagement with stakeholders to define capabilities and requirements
Identify and research the technical products and solutions
Simplifying technical 'jargon' to enable wider audiences to understand complex solutions.
Adhere to corporate policies and compliance standards
Understanding gap analysis and establish service value added capabilities.
Building documentation library which will include Service Design/Description/Definition/Commercial ModelSkills and Attributes
As a person you must be infinitely inquisitive, driven, and focused. Able to use a combination of logic, empathy, and storytelling to articulate a problem. Then work creatively and technically to construct a repeatable service that solves it.
Demonstrate ability to analyse trends/plans/strategies to develop solutions and services.
Work closely with our ICT Commercial Management team to Identify financial implications of various business strategies to support commercial modelling.
Work with Product Management team to identify and evaluate new ideas, technologies, or external products to expand capabilities.
Build and maintain departmental relationships and leverage experience to effectively execute work with identified commercial value and opportunity.
Identify barriers to change when implementing initiatives and find ways to reduce them.
Be able to work effectively with multiple teams in different contexts and environments.
