Job Description
FINTEC recruit is excited to share this opportunity of Production Engineer for our electronics engineering client. This is a permanent full-time role based in Cambridgeshire, working day shift Monday to Friday. You will provide technical support to production ensuring that high quality assemblies are produced accurately to electronic drawings.
Responsibilities of the Production Engineer include:
Approving manufacturing PCB Gerber file data from suppliers to ensure that customer specifications and manufacturing capabilities are achieved.
Creating pick and place programs using machine specific software, to customer specifications.
Producing data packages for solder paste stencils using GC-PowerPlace software/CAM software.
Provide technical support and lead problem solving activities in continuous improvement in quality.Essential skills and experience required for the Production Engineer role:
3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
Good knowledge of electronic components.
Proficient with computers and the use of internet resources.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
