Job Description
Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Production Manager for our electronics manufacturing client in Brightlingsea. You will be responsible for driving the new and existing product designs through R&D into production and support the technical production engineering and sales departments.
Duties:
Process, product, and manufacturing improvements
Design and development of new & existing high voltage products
Working closely with Production and Test department
Work alongside Quality Assurance
Design, manufacture and test electronic, electro-mechanical jigs and fixtures
Prototyping, testing, and validation of new products with a focus on high voltage products and designs & processes
Provide technical assistance and product education to assist with customer enquiries and product improvements
Routine technical support with production enquiries/issues
Attend exhibitions on occasions for the purposes of product awareness and new technologies.
To be considering for this exciting Production Manager role, you will need the following experience:
PCB Design software (ECAD)
CAD/Solidworks/Technical drawings (MCAD)
HNC/HND in an electronic or engineering discipline would be desirable or equivalent relevant experience
Electronics design and/or engineering environments
Good working understanding in the principles of electronics and circuit design
Mechanical engineering and design experience preferable
Good understanding and experience of batch and in-line production processes
Experience handling of miniature electronic components is preferred
