Job Description
Work in manufacturing areas involving both chemical and mechanical production processes to produce fibre fabric rolls and dressings to be used in medical devices
Key tasks and responsibilities
* Manufacture by operating the part automated Chemical reaction process using a kier to produce batch quantities of tow
* Operate the Alginate wet spinning line and dope making process to convert the raw materials into tow
* Operate the melt spinning equipment doff yarn and carry out decitex measurments on the product
* Operate the wrapping and winding equipment
* Operate the fabric blending equipment
* Operate the fabric processing cards and needle looms to produce fabric rolls and Silvers
* Split and cut rolls into individual dressings using mechanical cutting equipment
* Cut Silver into individual dressings using scissors
* Inspect and pack individual dressings into boxes
* Any other duties as requested by the Company
we are looking for a motivated , enthusiastic and flexible attitude , able to adapt and respond positivley to changing product lines and work priorities .
The ability to effectivley communicate with Supervisors and colleagues both verbally and in written format
Experience of working within a small team environment .
Full training will be provided
12 hour shift ( 8:00am to 8:00pm ) 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
All break times are paid
