Project Manager – Chroley Job in Chorley, Lancashire
Job Description
1. Working with the groundwork team to set out the build, arrange for concrete, brickwork to& supervise the preparation and execution of the concrete slab.
2. Be conversant with drainage and advise the groundworkers
3. Work with the bricklayer to make sure that they have the relevant paperwork to build the extension, arrange for any steelwork that is required from the structural engineer’s report.
4. Be conversant with building regulations and advise as required.
5. Liaise with building control.
6. Manage the whole process from breaking ground to completion of the structure.
7. Work with the technical surveyor to make sure that the customer receives the agreed specification.
8. Value engineer projects to maximise profit.
9. Assist our estimator to cost special projects.
10. Provide technical support to sales on any large projects.
11. Manage several projects at a time
12. Be responsible for the overall costs of the project
