Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a 6 month FTC (strong chance of extension) for a leading retailer.
The ideal candidate will be based within 45 minutes of Milton Keynes. The position will involve UK wide travel to all of the different stores.
Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure all new and changes to installation projects are managed and delivered on time at optimum cost
To ensure all projects are planned to make most effective use of available resources.
Facilitate project meetings effectively. Communicate with team members, other contractors and customer (where applicable) ensuring the achievement of the project plan.
To provide advice and guidance to the site construction team on the management of systems during construction works.
Create and maintain project plans and communicate them to all relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and report on progress and costs of project plans. Identifying anticipated or actual overspends and seeking agreement with the customer.
Provide line management to sub contractors working on site on your projects.
Assist the main contractor with planning and scheduling to ensure customer is not put at commercial or operational risk.
Follow the change management system, notifying all necessary change controls within the required time scalesExperience Required:
Minimum of 1 year project management experience in a similar industry
