We are currently undergoing site expansion and are looking to recruit a talented Quality Assurance Manager to lead our team through the quality management of our fantastic product through production.
What you will do
You will lead a well-established QA Team and will have responsibility for the quality management setup of the UKs largest semiconductor manufacturing site. Due to investment in new tools and expansion this is a thrilling opportunity for any QA Manager looking to progress within their career. Your key responsibilities would include people management, driving continuous improvement, change management, audit management and execution, product disposition, providing technical resolutions for customer related complaints along with Quality systems management. Nexperia work with many well-known automotive companies with Zero Defect expectations, so it is imperative that you are passionate about working to Automotive Standard (IATF). We can ensure that your skills are kept up to date and will support you with this whilst also funding any Qualifications you would like to study for.
Main Duties include
* Lead & build high performance team
* Goal setting & monitoring, people development
* Built up self-organizing team
* Monitoring and reporting of quality performance parameters
* Follow up on actions and initiation of improvement programs
* Review and approval of risk assessments
* Manage and implement Change procedure
* Customer interface, supporting customer audits
* Ensure that all required quality systems in the factory are meeting requirements
* Standardise and integrate Newport’s systems, working with Nexperia Global QA
* Ensure the factory is meeting the certification requirements of IATF16949 and ISO900
What you will need
As our Quality Assurance Manager, it is key that you have a passion for management and high standards ideally with previous management or mentoring experience.
Essential skills
* Ability to work as a technical communicator
* Strong engineering knowledge
* Understanding / experience in working with Automotive requirements (IATF)
* Customer service focused with a resilient attitude
* Qualified ISO auditor
* People management
* Experience with Quality tools such as 8D / FMEA / 15 WHYS / SPC
