Job Description
Quality Manager (IATF16949)
* Permanent
* Shift: Days
* Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire
* Salary: £45K – £50K (half day Fridays)
Due to further expansion and new major contract wins, a leading manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to join their team. The Quality Manager will lead the quality team on all quality activities.
Responsibilities as Quality Manager:
* Manage and develop the quality team providing training & development as necessary
* Carry out internal & external audits
* Manage internal Quality Management Systems
* Work with production on quality issues and implementing corrective actions
* New Product Introduction
* Prepare PPAP and APQP submissions
* Manage and lead continuous improvement initiatives & projects
* Manage non-conformance process
* Customer / Supplier Management
Experience / Qualifications required:
* Experience as a Quality Manager working to IATF16949 quality standards
* Able to develop and mentor a quality team
* Knowledge of VDA requirements
* Able to produce PPAP / APQP documentation for submission
* Supplier / Customer Quality Management
* Non-Conformance Management process
