Projects: Residential, Education, Healthcare, Social Housing and Commercial
Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:
Provide Quantity Surveying/Employers Agent services from inception through to completion
Prepare Cost Plans, Estimates, Bills of Quantities and Tenders
Assist in mentoring and development of lesser experienced members of staff
Manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients
Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:
BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
MRICS or approaching chartership
Experience working on projects across both private and public sectors
Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
A willingness to progress within the company career quickly
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Cost Planning software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge local markets and trends
Proven track record of generating new and repeat business
On offer for the Quantity Surveyor:
A salary of between £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
