Job Description

Nicholas Howard is recruiting on behalf of one of the largest law firms in the UK who are undergoing an amazing growth spurt. As the leading complex personal injury and medical negligence practice in the UK, they support thousands of families whose lives have been turned upside down by the unexpected.
The head office for this company is based in Manchester and they have several sites across the UK. The role we are recruiting for is a Rewards Advisor, sitting within the HR function of the business. This is a full-time role and is a remote working opportunity.
The role of the Rewards Advisor is to support colleagues in the cyclical reward processes, and support in the delivery of the reward strategy, principles and policy implementation across the Group. This includes supporting in the introduction of Role Evaluation to the Group, and the ongoing management of our pay, reward, benefits and recognition offer across the Group.
The duties of this role includes, but not limited to;
* Assist the Head of Reward with cyclical reward processes including pay review and bonus, contributing to associated preparatory papers
* Ensure operational excellence in all cyclical processes by the effective project management and planning, to support the wider Reward team in these activities
* Support in the preparation of all associated documentation relating to these cyclical activities, including timelines, colleague and leader communications to promote a leading people experience
* Ensuring that all reward related information including complex data is effectively managed and up to date in relevant systems
* Collaborate / liaise with key stakeholders in relation to regulatory and reporting requirements including Pay Gap, supporting the Head of Reward in the preparation of reports and associated documentation.
* Where appropriate making proactive recommendations to support IM in being exemplary in its reward practice and approach, to include keeping abreast of any future requirements and recommending action IM can take in advance.
* Collaborate / liaise with key stakeholders in reviewing our pension offer and approach, keeping up to date with the market and any legal requirements, making recommendations for change where appropriate, and creating engaging and compelling communications to colleagues
* Ensuring that the intranet and any literature is up to date relating to the above areas of activity
* Work with the HR Data Analyst to identify the most appropriate Reward metrics and reporting requirements
* Analyse key Reward data as appropriate to identify trends, propose improvements, actions or change and prepare proposals to support the business.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
Essential
* Demonstrable experience of reward
* Experience of Role Evaluation, using recognised methodology (eg Willis Towers Watson or Hay)
* Experience of working with significant amounts of data and information, and having the requisite attention to detail
* Track record of delivering key initiatives within a challenging environment
* Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information
* Enjoys working with systems and data
* Experience of interpreting reward benchmarking data
* A working knowledge of best practice in pay, reward and benefits.
Desirable
* CIPD qualified / degree equivalent
