Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Assistant Level 3 to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Chesterfield. This is a full-time primary teaching assistant role, working 1-1 in Reception which will commence in Sept 2022 until July 2023.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
The role
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be working full time with a child in a Reception class. You will need a calm nurturing approach to help bring the child to the levels where they need to be.

The school is a small village school bordering South Sheffield and Derbyshire. They are committed to working closely with the local community it serves, to create a stimulating and enjoyable education for its children. The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and pupil’s behavior is outstanding.
Requirements
To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Ideally have experience delivering primary lessons.
