Senior Data Engineer

London, Remote – £60,000 – £90,000

Applause IT are looking for experienced Senior Data Engineers to join an expanding Digital Services Consultancy. The Senior Data Engineers will need experience designing and developing data processing as well as strong leadership skills for a digital technology company.

The Senior Data Engineer will be part of a team and they will have a responsibility to mentor the less experienced members of the team. The Senior Data Engineers will be building ETL Pipelines alongside using great technologies such as Spark and Hadoop. This role will give you the opportunity to develop your skill set and it will provide you with the chance to progress in this growing industry.

The successful Senior Data Engineers will need experience of:

Experience with Apache Hadoop / Spark
Advanced Python programming
Data visualisation experience
Knowledge of ETL / ELT Processing
JVM Languages
