Job Description

Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Essex

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000+ (Negotiable)

Overview

Established over 40 years ago, this building services consultancy have grown into a well-respected and renown business situated in southern Essex. They boast a strong pipeline of work within numerous sectors including Rail, Healthcare, Heritage sites, Residential, Sport and Leisure ect. They also on various local authority frameworks and have longstanding relationships which allow for a consistent flow of interesting and new projects. With all their projects they focus on developing and implementing decarbonisation strategies.

Being a relatively small consultancy, this allows for all their engineers to gain vital project exposure and experience handling all stages of the project Lifecyle which is less likely within a larger organisation. They are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Head office on a permanent basis.

Role

As an Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to report to and assist the Senior Engineers with the production of designs and schematics.

Ideally you will have:

An Mechanical Engineering Degree or Building services Related.
7+ years' experience working or knowledge of the building services consultancy.
Experience leading projects as a Mechanical Engineer.
Experience undertaking surveys and generating reports and specifications.
Have a basic knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Hevacomp and MicroStation (Preferable).
Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines.
Have the right to work within the UK
